There’s a serious need to improve the check-in process!!! Parking is overpriced and frustrating!!! A little more attention to room cleanliness would go a long way too.

Booked a room that looked nothing like the original pictures. gone was the kitchenette, making it inconvenient without a microwave. Breakfast ran out of forks an hour before closing, which was frustrating, especially with the fryer being out at the restaurant during the night. The air conditioning unit kicked on loudly, disturbing our sleep several times a night, and parking wasn't included in the price—$35 a day for hotel parking or pay-per-hour on the street seemed steep for the overall experience.

Family trips with some hiccups

The location is great, very central to everything. You can tell the gym is new and equipped with solid machines, was a nice surprise. I also appreciated the fact that parking was free after 5 during our Saturday stay.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but I guess you get what you pay for.

The Hyatt Place Grand Rapids Downtown features elegant decor and spacious common areas, enhancing comfort for seniors. The staff was exceedingly helpful, especially in assisting with my luggage and providing excellent recommendations for nearby dining.

A quieter lounge area would enhance relaxation.

The living room area in my room provided a spacious and cozy retreat after a long day. Nightly views from the balcony created memorable moments, especially during the fireworks display.

I had an amazing stay with super comfortable beds, enjoyed the clean and spacious room, and appreciated the lovely little porch off my room for evening views.

The hotel's modern decor and well-designed public areas were delightful, making it feel both inviting and accessible. The spacious rooms allowed easy navigation for seniors, adding an extra layer of comfort to our stay.

The location was outstanding, with an abundance of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the room were impressive, complemented by a lovely bar area on the second floor with a friendly bartender. Breakfast options included bacon and eggs, although the overall dining experience could use improvement.

It was just a good match for a stopover in Grand Rapids with all in all brilliant value for money. The room was decent, but I really appreciated the comfortable beds that helped us rest well. Make sure to ask for enough towels at check-in.
